Advancing Career Connections is a speed networking event of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce PEI Connectors program that connects local industry professionals to job seekers and skilled interprovincial and international newcomers. ACC enables job-seekers to expand their professional networks and get closer to achieving their career goals.

Challenge

The PEI Connectors business program needed to create branding and visual communication materials for networking events. The design concept had to demonstrate the interrelationship of different groups that helps talents find new career opportunities and expand their professional network. The logo had to convey the program's mission in a modern and dynamic style.

Idea

The client liked using the cross sign, which we created from four arrows pointing in different directions and hidden inner white arrows, initially created by our team for the Island Advance program. The combination of orange hues with deep purple-blue created a professional and memorable corporate identity for ACC events.

Results

We developed a bold corporate identity based on the module's design, images of program participants and bright colours that perfectly complemented the dynamic logo design. The modern and energetic visual style has helped the events stand out from other Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce business initiatives to attract talent and employers.
