PET W is a one-stop shop for various quality pet care and accessories. PET W has all pet needs covered by supplying locally to Canadians nationwide and through wholesale and eCommerce platforms. Whether it be pet toys, bedding, feeding, or grooming supplies, PET W combines ethical products with unbeatably competitive prices.

Challenge

Startup owner PET W wanted to create a fresh and modern corporate identity with an innovative logo design using simple geometric shapes that could be easily replicated on a small package. The goal of the project was not just to create a brand for a new pet store, which is the official distributor of ALL FOR PAWS and PAWISE in Canada, but also to prepare it for the development of its own trademark. The brand was supposed to instantly attract attention and evoke vivid emotions among pet owners, and win their hearts.

Idea

PET W offers a wide range of pet toys and accessories to keep pets entertained during the day and well-rested at night. We decided to reflect this in two main colours, yellow and black, which symbolize day and night, and create a bold and powerful colour combination for the corporate identity. The abstract image of a “happy cat”, simplified into a logo with a playful company name font, created a simple and catchy corporate identity concept. The “What Your Pet Wants” slogan that we created was the perfect complement to the PET W logo.

Results

We created a brand positioning strategy that was implemented in brand identity, marketing materials, visual communications, stationery and souvenirs. PET W received a modern, vibrant brand that helped the new business to stand out confidently from the fierce competition.
